Rafa's Predicament

No doubt Rafa Benitez is a very good manager with sound technical ability, but it will take alot more than that to succeed in a club like Chelsea. It seems like players of the Club are far more bigger than the couch( all thanks to the Roman aristocrat running things), so when the players has a little misunderstanding with the couch, it manifest in the field of play. This is exactly what happen to Ancelloti and AVB, and finally RDM. For Rafa to succeed at Chelsea, it is either he find a way to please the players( especially the generals like Terry, Lampard,Cech and Cole) which might produce short term success or he decide to do away with them and try to build Chelsea for the future players( Cahill, oscar, Studridge). But if I am to advise Rafa, it is to go for the first choice because neither the owners nor the players will give him a chance for the second option. The players would not give him a chance to change things and the owner does not have the patience for long term plan. So Rafa should just please the OLD GUARDS.
